Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 15 August 2026

1. What eSimList is

eSimList is a comparison service: we gather the eSIM data plans offered by independent providers ("Providers") in one place and display them side by side, by destination.

What we do not do, so it is clear from the start:

  • we do not sell eSIMs and take no payment from you;
  • we are not an electronic communications provider and operate no mobile networks;
  • we are not a party to the contract you enter into with a Provider, and we provide no technical support for the plan you buy;
  • we do not ask you to create an account — the site is free to use, without registration.

When you press "Buy" you are redirected to the Provider's website. From that point their terms and policies apply, and the contract is concluded solely between you and the Provider.

2. Who we are

The site is operated by the entity publishing eSimList. You can write to us at any time through the contact form.

3. Accepting and changing these terms

By accessing and using the site you confirm that you have read and accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

We may update these terms when the service or the legal requirements change. The applicable version is the one published on this page, with the last-updated date shown at the top, and it applies to visits after publication. We recommend re-reading the page from time to time.

4. Who may use the site

The site is intended for people with full legal capacity. If you are under 18, use it only with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian. We do not address children under 16 and do not knowingly collect their data.

5. How the comparison works

Where the data comes from

Plan information — price, data volume, validity, countries covered — comes from the Providers, through their data feeds, and is refreshed periodically (normally at least hourly). Between two refreshes a Provider may change its offer without notice.

What we show, and what we do not

Plans for which a Provider sends no valid price are not displayed, because they cannot be compared fairly. We do not list every offer on the market, only those of the Providers we have a data integration with.

How results are ordered

The order is determined automatically, by the sort you choose:

  • Cheapest — by the total price of the plan (the default);
  • Best price/GB — by price relative to data volume;
  • Most data — by the data included;
  • Validity — by the number of days the plan is valid.

The three highlighted cards at the top of a destination page are computed just as automatically: Most Wanted = best price per GB, Recommended = most data, Best Deal = lowest total price. Exceptionally, one of those slots may be set manually by our team for editorial reasons; the rest of the list stays automatically generated.

Placement is not for sale. No Provider can pay for a better position, and an affiliate relationship has no effect on the order, the sorting or the highlighting of results.

Prices and currency conversion

Prices are shown as the Provider supplies them, usually in US dollars. Amounts in other currencies are indicative conversions, calculated with public exchange rates updated daily, and may differ from the final amount your bank charges, which applies its own rate and any fees. We do not display or guarantee additional charges applied by a Provider.

6. Affiliate links

Some links to Providers are affiliate links: if you buy through them, we may receive a commission from the Provider. The price you pay is the same — the commission is paid by the Provider, not by you. This is how the service funds itself while staying free for visitors. Such links are marked technically as rel="sponsored", in line with good practice.

7. Accuracy of information

We make reasonable efforts to keep the information accurate and current, but we cannot guarantee that it is complete, exact or unchanged relative to the Provider's offer at any given moment. Transmission errors, refresh delays and unilateral changes by Providers are possible.

Before buying, always check the final details — price, data volume, validity, countries covered and conditions of use — on the Provider's website. Information on eSimList, including blog articles, is general information and does not constitute technical, legal or financial advice.

Whether an eSIM is compatible with your device, whether your phone is carrier-unlocked, and the coverage you actually get at your destination depend on your device and on local networks; we cannot guarantee them.

8. What happens after you buy

Delivery of the eSIM profile, activation, service performance, billing, top-ups, refunds and technical support are entirely the Provider's responsibility, under the contract between you and them. Complaints about a purchase should be addressed to the Provider.

If you are a consumer, your statutory rights against the Provider — including, where applicable, the right of withdrawal under distance-selling law, subject to the exceptions for digital content and services — are unaffected by these terms. For disputes with a trader in the European Union you can use the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform. Note that these routes concern your relationship with the Provider you bought from, not the free comparison service we operate.

9. Using the site

You agree to use the site in good faith and in accordance with the law. In particular, you may not:

  • extract content automatically, in bulk or systematically (scraping, unauthorised crawling, database copying);
  • reproduce or republish the comparisons, texts or structure of the site commercially without our written consent;
  • attempt unauthorised access to our systems, test for vulnerabilities without permission, circumvent technical limitations or overload the infrastructure;
  • introduce malicious code or disrupt the service;
  • use the site for fraudulent or deceptive activity.

We may restrict or block access, temporarily or permanently, where we find a breach of these rules or a risk to the security of the service.

If you write to us through the contact form, you are responsible for the content of your message. Please do not send sensitive data (card details, passwords, medical information) — we have no need for it.

10. Intellectual property

The site's own content — texts, articles, destination descriptions, the selection and arrangement of information, the interface, graphics and code — is protected by copyright and related rights and is owned by or licensed to us. You are welcome to read and share links to our pages, but copying or commercial reuse of the content requires our prior written consent.

Provider names, trade marks and logos, along with flags and other third-party assets, belong to their respective rights holders and are displayed solely for identification and comparison, without implying affiliation or endorsement.

If you are a rights holder and believe content on the site infringes your rights, write to us through the contact form and we will review the notice.

11. Availability of the service

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation: there may be interruptions for maintenance, technical incidents, unavailability of Provider data feeds, or events beyond our control. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the site at any time.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • the content, availability, quality or legality of Providers' services, or their failure to perform the contract;
  • differences between the information shown on eSimList and that on the Provider's site at the time of purchase;
  • losses resulting from the decision to buy a particular plan, from lack of coverage at your destination, or from your device's incompatibility;
  • interruptions, errors or temporary unavailability of the site;
  • the content of third-party sites reached through our links.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law — including liability for fraud or gross negligence, for personal injury or death caused by our negligence, and consumers' mandatory rights.

13. Links to third-party sites

The site contains links to sites operated by third parties, which we do not control. Including a link does not mean we endorse their content or practices. You access them at your own risk, on the terms set by those operators.

14. Data protection

How personal data is processed is described in our Privacy policy, and what is stored in your browser is detailed in the Cookie policy. Both form an integral part of these terms.

15. Force majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform caused by events beyond our control: network or infrastructure outages, security incidents at third parties, interruption of Provider services, acts of authorities, natural disasters and other cases of force majeure.

16. Final provisions

  • Severability — if a clause is held invalid or unenforceable, the rest remain in force, and the affected clause is replaced with a valid one that comes closest to its original purpose.
  • Waiver — not exercising a right immediately is not a waiver of it.
  • Assignment — we may transfer the rights and obligations under these terms to an affiliated entity or a successor in title, without affecting your position.
  • Entire agreement — these terms, together with the privacy policy, are the complete understanding between you and us regarding use of the site.

17. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Romanian law. Disputes are to be settled amicably where possible and otherwise by the competent courts of Romania. If you are a consumer resident in another EU member state, you also benefit from the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.

18. Contact

For any question about these terms or how the site works, write to us through the contact form. We usually reply within 1–2 business days.
